Our client is a software company with offices in 22 countries and corporate headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts. They provide the premier platform for connected healthcare, and their innovative products are widely used in other industries that demand the highest software performance and reliability.


Position 1: Project Manager

Overview:

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the specific Projects and the staff involved with the implementations of TrakCare projects in respect to resources, timeframes, budgets, and deliverables. The Project Manager is also responsible for ensuring each Project is performed in accordance with TrakCare implementation procedures and fulfils the contractual requirements for each specific Project.

Responsibilities:  
  • Implementation and management of a patient administration system (PAS) and/or clinical information system (CIS), and/or Community Health Management Systems
  • Responsible for end-to-end project management including budget management. This includes rebilling expensed as appropriate, advanced alerts of cost overruns or scope changes
  • Flagging of any risks or issues effecting the budgets accordingly with the Project Board/Steering committee
  • Monitoring of Project Implementation timescales with Projects Manager to ensure project is achieving milestones
  • Responsible for regular Project reviews with Customers Project Manager including providing reporting and documentation where required
  • Incumbents must be able to commit to at least 50% travel

Qualifications:
  • Experience with the implementation and management of a patient administration system (PAS) and/or clinical information system (CIS) and/or Community Health Management Systems
  • Strong analytical skills with understanding of the business issues and practices associated with the health sector in general, and specifically across Patient Administration Systems (PAS) and/or Clinical Systems (CIS) and/or Community Health Management Systems
  • Experience working at clinician level (e.g., doctor, nurse, allied services)
  • Experience working in parallel with customer project
  • Track record of managing multiple projects within a matrix environment
  • Past experience leading project staff with no line management responsibility
  • Flexibility and adaptability to client needs

Position 2: Application Specialist

Overview:

The Application Specialist will contribute to the successful development and timely deployment of robust products and customer solutions by providing application knowledge and product specialist services in the functional areas of product implementation, requirements scoping, design documents and change request testing.  Act as an "expert" product resource for customers, as well as communicating and prioritizing customer requirements to other areas of the business.

The Applications Specialist will work with the customer to implement the product in such a way as to address the customer business requirements using as much as possible the function and tools already available within the product. The Application Specialist is also responsible for providing information and guidance in the implementation of new software developments.

Travel Requirements: This role will require a commitment of up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with customers in order to establish and define the work processes and requirements that are required to be addressed by the TrakCare application
  • Implement the TrakCare application in a manner that will suit the business requirements of the customer
  • Conduct training demonstrations and workshops as required
  • Implement and control change management requests from client
  • Deliver successful application implementation phases
  • SME for TrakHealth in regards to onsite implementations
  • Work with customers to identify potential changes within the parameters of the product where at all possible

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of PAS and/or clinical healthcare products
  • Understanding of and experience with the implementation and management of the operational and managerial application of Hospital Information, Patient Administration, and Clinical Information Systems
  • Understanding of the importance of Health Informatics standards, reporting requirements and legislative controls
  • Knowledge of computer systems, software implementation methodology
  • An ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and within tight time constraints

Position 3: Technical Specialist

A mentor will help you identify and develop your technical, professional, and personal skills for a successful technical career. Depending on your level of experience the training program can include: classroom learning, e-learning, projects, and external courses.  Your mentor will also help you familiarize you with the company environment.

Qualifications:
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent; (Physics, Mathematics, Sciences)
  • Experience or familiarity with programming languages.
  • Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux or Windows environments, C++ development, and software systems a plus.
