对于第三章节Patient Administration的PID段中的几个字段的翻译

在HL7 2.4版第三章节Patient Administration中的PID段最后有四个字段：3.4.2.35中的species code，3.4.2.36中的Breed code，3.4.2.37中的strain，3.4.2.38Production class code 这几个是表示什么？中文意思该怎么翻译？
以下是我的理解：
参照后面3.4.2.35中的species code的定义：The species of living organism.  This may include the common or scientific name, based on the coding system(s) used.  SNOMED is the recommended coding system.  If this field is not valued, a human is assumed.
可以理解说这是一个关于活的有机体的种类代码。推荐使用SNOMED编码系统。没有值则默认为人类。这里理解的关键是SNOMED编码系统是什么？SNOMED是the Systematic Nomenclature of Human an Veterinary Medicine，翻译为：人类与兽类医学系统术语。在美国的制度下，因为对于动物的医疗保健也很关注，也有相关的保险，甚至还有护照等等，所以才会有相关的关于animal的描述字段，这在国内似乎是不可想象的。
按照3.4.2.36中的Breed code的解释：The specific breed of animal 这是关于动物的种的代码。3.4.2.37中的strain：This field contains the specific strain of animal这是关于动物详细血统的代码。因为对于动物来说，血统可是对自己身价很有影响的主要因素。这个可以扩展到其他生物，当然包括人了。3.4.2.38Production class code的定义：This field contains the code and/or text indicating the primary use for which the living subject was bred or grown.
指主要受哪种生活环境影响。当然这个就不用于动物了
