Position Specifics:
Date:         4/24/2007
Location:        APAC
Title:        Healthcare Sales Manager               
Department:         Sales               
Reports to:           Global Director Healthcare Industry       


Position Summary:       
> The Healthcare Sales Manager has an overall responsibility for achieving team and individual sales targets in the Healthcare and Education market place in the territory. Actively develops opportunities with end-users and ensures an efficient sales process through the relevant channels. Develops and maintains contacts with the sales force of key channel partners to maximize revenue and margin.  Keeps up-to-date on all issues related to the Healthcare IT marketplace.  

Position Responsibilities:
> Achieve sales targets and develop sales into the Healthcare and Education market
> Increase sales activity with existing strategic channel partners (DMR’s) and identify possible new partners.
> Develop end-user opportunities for DMR’s and ensure successful closure in close cooperation with the Channel Manager.
> Support DMR’s on end-user visits/demo’s in the defined territory
> Provide the Sales Director with sales progress and achievement reports and input for sales forecasts
> Coach and Educate Territory and Channel Managers on issues related to the Healthcare Market
> Initiate marketing activities and execute training sessions with the DMR sales force to help them maximize on sales at end-user level.         

Position Requirements (Knowledge and Experience):
> Strong English speaking/reading/writing skills required
> Mandarin Chinese speaking skills preferred
> Proven track record in account management, preferably in an IT and/or Healthcare environment.
> Knowledge of the APAC IT, healthcare markets
> Understanding of indirect sales models and distribution channels
> Highly self motivated
> Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent negotiator
> High integrity, strong work ethics, committed team player
> Knowledge of the Ergotron strategies and product range
