居然是五年内实现美国电子健康记录，比原计划还要提前一年，这是一块多大的市场啊？我的天!
我们先不说是否可以实现这个目标，但大笔的政府投入将是肯定的。国内的大牛估计也可以准备好上美国淘这把金了。
其中一句话也挺关键。实现所有美国人人拥有电子医疗记录不会节省经费也不会造成人员失业。

Yeah, and actually it's a hot topic here during HL7 Orlando WGM, especially for EHR/PHR work group....Sorry didn't see many Chinese people in the meeting...

我们在中国，参加HL7的会议非常不方便，上次HL7邀请我们以远程形式参加HL7的工作组会议，但由于时差，大家不方便参加啊，加上我的英语口语不是太好，嘿嘿

Yes, I'm in U.S and have been involved HL7 about 8 years. I'm pleased to see that the HL7 active discussion in this forum. I hope our China co-workers could become more active in HL7 community. I understand the difficulty to travel, but I encourage everybody actively participate the HL7 WG based mail listing, as well as ballot review. As long as you spoke up, it really does not matter whether you physically show up in HL7 WGM or not, email, skype can always work. According to HL7 Ballot reconciliation policy, negative vote must be addressed before standard moving forward, so ballot review is a good way to increase chinese HIMS organization's influence in SDO (Standard Development Organization). In past 7 years, I have observed that S.Korea and Japan sent same group of people to HL7 consistently, but not China....and from Orlando WGM, I learned that Japen has finalized EHR functional model....Way to go! China co-workers!
