Conference Programme
For 2010, the event has adopted the NHS's key strategic focus on Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention, as its main theme. Key note speeches on each of the three days, will lead off individual streams for each day. Conference will be opened by the BCS President and start with an address from the new Chair of BCS Health, Matthew Swindells, who will briefly outline how the BCS as a professional body can and will support the agenda for health. Speakers include Christine Connelly, CIO for Health, Gwyn Thomas, CIO for Wales, Prof Heinz Wolff, Founding Director, Brunel Institute for Bioengineering, Charles Gutteridge, National Clinical Director for Informatics & David Behan, Director General of Social Care.
