POSITION: Solution Advisor/Manager - Healthcare
KEY OBJECTIVES
The company Healthcare Team focuses on providing an administrative and clinical platform for the healthcare industry. Emphasis is on providing a scalable, robust and highly secure suite of healthcare information services. We seek to leverage the latest Oracle, Java, and Internet technologies with visionary healthcare industry insights to build healthcare products that improve both the efficiency and quality of healthcare services delivery.
The Solution Advisor-Healthcare will be responsible for identifying customer business needs for technology He/she will be required develop Solutions Programs and actively participate in and drive proactive sales campaigns through the creation and execution of lead generation workshops and ROI activities. He/she will also develop advisory relationships with strategic accounts.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Lead visioning and business analysis activities in nominated strategic accounts in Healthcare;
-Design, validate and present Healthcare software solutions, including advanced product concepts, future direction and 3rd party complimentary products;
-Demonstrate in-depth proficiency in core Healthcare products and platforms, i.e. HTB;
-Build trusted relationships with Customers at Executive levels as an ongoing source of advice on Healthcare as they develop and implement their Healthcare strategies;
-Work with the GEH Greater China Sales team to develop proposals, conduct presentations and represent the company's Healthcare solutions throughout the sales process;
-Evangelise the Oracle Healthcare vision and provide thought leadership to the Industry teams, marketing and other company organisations contributing to Healthcare;
-Contribute to the development of business plans, strategies and solution programs in Healthcare;
-Maintain a clear understanding and competitive positioning of Oracle's Healthcare capabilities and differentiators;
-Actively drive Oracle’s strategic sales methodology through the production of discovery maps, competitive traps and solution maps;
-Support achievement of license sales targets in the Healthcare industry segment;
-Coach others in the Solution Advisor role on the basis of personal experience, the use of tools and techniques and Strategic Services methods.
RELEVANT TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
-5+ years of healthcare domain experience with at least 2 years working at senior level. Clinician and/or hospital administrator experience desirable
-Successful sales consulting and/or experience with healthcare IT solution implementations
-Familiarity with current IT-related healthcare trends, HL7, CCOW, HIPAA, RSNA/DICOM and IHE issues
-Proven track record in consulting at board level on the business application of technology
-Demonstrated strength in the ability to facilitate visioning workshops with an executive level audience
-Demonstrated ability to utilise e-business anecdotes, experience, references and proof points in a sales cycle
-High level of communication & presentation skills (both written & oral)
-Self-motivator with the ability to work independently (as required)
University degree qualified (ideally in the field of Healthcare/Medical Informatics)
Desirable:
-Post graduate technical or management qualifications or other relevant experience
