Canada’s Health Infoway, a not-for-profit organization that fosters development in health IT, and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) announced a “Memorandum of Understanding” to work together for the advancement of health information technology standards. This initiative was announced at The International Organization for Standardization's General Assembly, where delegates from more than 100 countries discussed international health care issues and the global challenges and opportunities associated with international standards. CSA is committed to providing leadership in health care technology standardization and enhancing the safe, effective application of standards that will benefit patients and medical professionals. |
